Teacher check-ins (school)

Generalization is the whole game, and the classroom teacher is the only person who can hear it. Invite them with a one-time code and they get exactly one question a week per student: did you hear it — not yet, sometimes, or consistently — plus an optional note (“only when reminded”, “much better in small group”).

What the teacher sees

The student’s name, the goal’s “what to listen for” line in your hallway wording, and their own past answers. Nothing else: no goals data, no notes, no other students, no clinical records of any kind — enforced on the server, not just hidden.

What you see

Answers land as Classroom carryover on the student’s Overview tab and as a line in the IEP packet’s present levels — often the only carryover evidence in the period. Counts are weeks reported: a silent week is an unknown, never a zero, and teacher answers never touch mastery math.

Teachers get one Friday nudge when a check-in is unanswered — no other notifications, ever.

Clinic practices don’t see this feature: in private practice a teacher is an outside party under FERPA, and the server refuses teacher invites for clinic accounts.
