Supervised practice (Pro + seats)
One subscription becomes a practice: invite the SLPA, clinical fellow, or student clinician you supervise, and they get their own sign-in scoped to exactly the students you assign. Professional includes one seat; more are $15/month each, added in your account portal.
The scope, enforced
An assistant runs sessions, scores trials, uses decks and boards, reviews home practice, and drafts notes — on assigned students only. Goals, evaluations, student records, and signatures stay yours (a clinical fellow, being a degreed SLP, can also write goals and evaluations on their assigned caseload). These aren’t UI preferences: the server refuses out-of-scope writes even if the app is bypassed entirely, because an out-of-scope SLPA write is a licensure exposure for you.
The co-sign queue
An assistant’s note is a draft until you sign it from the Supervision page — and until you do, that session stays off the service log and superbill. The queue is the compliance rule, not a reminder.
Reviewing a note before you sign
Open any queued note to review it properly. Select a passage and press Add comment to attach a remark to that exact excerpt — it shows highlighted in the text. You can also edit the note text yourself; the edit is recorded in the comment trail, so your assistant always sees that (and when) you touched their words. Then either Send back — the note leaves your queue, shows “changes requested” on their My Notes page with every comment, and returns to your queue when they resolve the comments and resubmit — or Sign as supervisor, which approves and locks it in one motion. The whole review conversation is stored on the note itself, so it syncs, and locks, with the document it’s about.
Supervision hours
Log each contact — live observation, telesupervision, co-treat (direct) or record review, conference (indirect). The dashboard computes direct supervision as a % of the assistant’s student-contact time, and exports an ASHA-format log with both signature lines — the document a state board asks for. A ratio warning appears past ASHA’s guidance of 3 SLPAs; it warns and never blocks, because waivers exist and your state board is the authority.
When someone leaves
Removing an assistant frees the seat instantly. Everything they recorded stays, permanently authored to them — the audit trail outlives the employment.
