Getting started

SLP UnMute is built around one promise: run the session, and the paperwork writes itself. Everything downstream — notes, service logs, progress reports, meeting documents — is generated from trials you score with one tap while your eyes stay on the kids.

The first ten minutes

1. Create your account (or sign in). Your 30-day trial includes every Professional feature, no card required.
2. Settings → Therapist: your name and credentials (they appear on signed notes), and your practice type — school, clinic, or both. This only changes wording and which surfaces show; it never hides your data.
3. Add a student on the Caseload page. A name is all that’s required — grade, IEP dates, mandated minutes, and recording consent can come later.
4. Add a goal from the goal bank and tweak it. Goals are structured like real IEP goals: condition + behavior + criterion + cue allowance.
5. Start a session from Today. Score a few trials. End the session — the note is drafted before the student reaches the door.

Where things live

• Today — start/resume sessions, what’s coming due, recent sessions.
• Caseload — every student, four views, filters, and bulk actions.
• Schedule — your recurring week; one tap generates the sessions.
• Reports — everything generated from your data, plus authored paperwork.
• Settings — profile, AI voices, appearance, account, privacy.

Two demo students (Ava and Marcus) come pre-loaded so you can explore with real-feeling data. Delete them from the Caseload whenever you’re done.

One account covers Windows and Android. Everything is offline-first — sessions never wait on school Wi-Fi — and syncs automatically when you’re connected.
