AAC boards

Tap-to-talk communication boards with Mulberry symbols, your own photos, or emoji. Starter core-word and snack boards are built in — duplicate one to make it yours.

Voices, in priority order

1. A recorded human voice on a button always wins — yours or a caregiver’s.
2. An AI voice (Ana child, Jenny, Guy, Aria) — each word is generated once, then plays offline forever. Changing the AI voice in Settings regenerates the board automatically, usually free, because generated words live in a shared reuse library.
3. The device voice, as the fallback.

In sessions and at home

From a session, board taps log as AAC goal data — with a Prompted switch so spontaneous vs. prompted use (exactly what AAC goals measure) charts separately. Boards assigned to a student appear automatically on their family’s linked devices.

Switch access

For students who can’t tap, the board scans: a highlight sweeps row first, then cell (or one button at a time) and a switch chooses. One-switch auto-scan with adjustable speed, or two-switch step scanning — Space steps, Enter chooses. Any Bluetooth switch that presents as a keyboard works, and a plain keyboard is all you need to try it. After the last row the highlight reaches the Speak button, so a switch user can build and speak a whole sentence without a single tap. Free on every plan — accessibility is never paywalled.

Kiosk mode

Hand to student locks the app into the board — no navigation, no data access — until your PIN (Settings → Therapist) unlocks it. Little fingers stay out of your caseload.

Fitzgerald key throughout: orange nouns, green verbs, blue describing words, yellow pronouns, pink social words.
